Our church aims to increase awareness of God's presence and to celebrate God's love

SUNDAYS at 10.30

Sunday WorshipOur worship combines traditional and modern approaches. As well as familiar hymns, prayers and Bible readings, we enjoy finding innovative ways to worship God through the use of new media, song, music, readings, prayer and, sometimes, discussion. Talks and sermons help us connect our faith with everyday living.

Why not come and see for yourself? You can be involved as much or as little as you want. The service lasts about an hour and is followed by a chance to chat over tea and coffee.

Holy Communion is celebrated approximately once a month in the morning service (usually the first Sunday in the month).

There is  a crèche area for young children at the back of the church.

JUNIOR CHURCH (not currently meeting)

Junior Church meets during the 10.30 service to nurture children in the Christian faith through many fun activities. Any young person from age 3 upward (to about 13) is very welcome to attend and those present are divided into 2 groups based on their age. Leaders plan a 40/45 minute session. This could include discussion, crafts, stories, games, play, quizzes, drama and songs.

Members of Junior Church join the main congregation for the first 10 minutes or so of worship before leaving for their own activities.  They then rejoin worship at about 11.30 . Junior Church meets most Sundays during term time.  For celebration services such as our Harvest Festival, Junior Church joins the rest of the Church Family for worship for the whole service.

PRAYING TOGETHER

We also regularly pray together as a church FIND OUT MORE

"To pray is to listen to the One who calls you 'my beloved daughter,' 'my beloved son,' 'my beloved child.' To pray is to let that voice speak to the center of your being... and let that voice resound in your whole being." (Henri Nouwen)
