In Matthew 6:15, Jesus gives us the most fundamental and important aspect of Prayer. We need to pray together as a church fellowhsip. In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus begins with Our father, a collective pronoun. We want our prayers to count and we want to pray effectively as a church family.
Prayer Ministry is an opportunity for prayer on an individual basis for any prayer need, you may have for yourself or someone else.
You may want prayer for healing, for strength, patience, guidance, peace, or love to be shown in a particular situation. Whatever your need it is between you, the person praying with you and God.
Prayer Hour meets on the first Saturday of the month at 8 am in the Minor Hall at the back of the church.
We run a prayer chain to further strengthen our prayer life at Wallington.
If you have any specific requests for prayer, please use the link below to tell us who or what situation you would like us to prayer for. Once a week the requests will be passed via email to a secure group of prayer chain participants. The information you share will only go to members of the prayer chain and nowhere else.
The power of prayer is immeasurable!
Churches Together in Beddington and Wallington organise a series of short Prayer Meetings, which take place on the last Wednesday of each month at 8.00 pm and last between 30 minutes and 1 hour. They are held in a different church each month and are an opportunity to share in prayer with Christians from different traditions.
